Letting in Streatham
Streatham is in south London, built along one of the longest high streets in the capital. There is no Tube station, but Streatham, Streatham Hill and Streatham Common stations have trains into central London, and Brixton’s Victoria line is a short bus ride away. Much of the housing is Victorian and Edwardian, with many large houses split into flats and mansion blocks along the main roads.

Most of Streatham is in the London Borough of Lambeth, so Lambeth Council sets the licensing rules. Some SW16 streets toward Norbury fall under Croydon instead, so we check which council covers your address and what it asks for.
